Who is teaching the classes?
It’s me, hi! I know you know the rest of the lyrics. My name is Alex, the face behind Marked by Alex. I have 9+ years in the floral design and the wedding world and I am so excited to be able to share some of what I have learned along the way. I am passionate about pushing “traditional norms” and showing that wedding flowers can be whatever you want them to be, including something interesting and a work of art.
What is included?
Everything you will need to design our focus piece for each class. Everything from hand selected florals for each recipe, to vessels, to materials, to take home materials to read back over when you need inspiration. We will even take photos of your work and yourself for an everlasting keepsake but also for social media or marketing purposes.
How many students per class?
We have a maximum of 8 students per class so we can focus on the intimacy of connection and learning from one another. This allows us to have open conversation, build flower friendships, and really get the full advantage of each class.
Which class should I take?
Selfishly, I would love for you to take them all! Kidding, kind of. I would really consider what you would love to practice or the areas where you want to explore a new style of floral design you may not get to practice in your every day. I can easily say my artistry has come from practice, practice, practice and learning from other designers.
Do I get to keep my designs?
OF COURSE! These are your masterpieces to take home, admire in your own home, gift to a friend, or whatever your heart desires. Everything from the class gets to go home with you.*
Excluding borrowed equipment such as sheers, rolls of tape, rolls of ribbon, etc.
